SAT Score - 2210 (710Math, 740Verbal, 760Writing) DAT Score - 21 Academic, 20 PAT High School GPA - 3.75 College GPA - 3.60 Math Minor GPA - 3.90 Econ Major GPA - 3.76 In the fall, I will be starting my final year at New York University. I am an economics major. I also have a math minor that I have already completed. I am currently planning to complete the major in math. Lastly, I am a pre-dental student, and my intent is to go to dental school in the fall of 2010.
Experience
I tutored my peers in both math and physics during my junior and senior years of high school through a program coordinated by the school faculty. Also, I interviewed a few weeks ago for a tutoring position with Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions. Presumably, I will be instructing classes of 10 to 15 students on test taking strategies and relevant knowledge for the SAT and the DAT (the dental school admissions exam). This job will only help me to enhance my tutoring and teaching skills. On another note, I have a compassionate personality, and I will be patient with my students. This is likely a result of the time I have spent volunteering in hospitals and dental clinics throughout my high school and college years. By combining my knowledge set and these other indespensibile skills, I hope that I will be an asset in helping you to achieve your goals.
